We were privileged to host last week a visit to BIST by Andrew Hodge, representing the governing body of Bromsgrove UK. Mr Hodge enjoyed a packed programme all week. In addition to formal commitments with our own Board and members of our Leadership teams, he also met with a large cross-section of BIST teachers, across Early Years, Primary and Secondary. He was quick to comment on the buzz and energy throughout both campuses, and how impressed he was by our fantastic team of teachers. A highlight for him, however, was the meetings he had with members of our Student Voice teams in both Primary and Secondary, and his experience as a guest adjudicator for our World Scholar’s Cup squad, amid their final preparations for Yale. Yet again, it is the students at BIST who show just what a wonderful place this is to learn and play. I would like to thank everyone who made so successful this visit by our sister school: I am sure he will go back to the UK full of praise for their partner school in Thailand.
