International School Thailand - Our Admission Procedure

Bromsgrove aims to be selective in admissions and requires that all prospective students take our entry tests. Please follow the procedure below if you are interested in joining Bromsgrove International School;

1. Application

Please download or complete the application form on-line and send it to the School Office by fax to 0-2989-4094, email or in person at the school office.

2. Assessment Test

Assessment tests in Non-verbal Reasoning, Maths, English (reading and comprehension) and an interview with one of the Heads will be scheduled by the School Admissions Manager. A payment of 5,000 Baht is required prior to taking the assessment test. On the day of the test, please bring the required documents indicated on the application form including the latest school report.

For students coming from overseas schools, assessment tests may be coordinated with their school teachers. Parents will be asked to give us contact details (preferably email addresses) and we will contact them accordingly.

3. Test Results

Results will be confirmed within 2-3 days after the child has taken the written placement test at the school. For those taking the tests from overseas, the results will be provided within 3 days after receipt of the exam papers. For children whose English competency is not up to the standards required by the British National Curriculum, an Intensive EAL (English as an Additional Language) programme may be recommended. Prospective parents would be informed of this requirement once a confirmation for a place is offered.

4. Confirmation and payment of school fees

Upon confirmation, parents should pay the registration fee of 50,000 Baht. A student will not be guaranteed a place at Bromsgrove until this fee is paid. An invoice for the tuition fees and all other fees will be issued by the School Office. Payment should be made by the due date indicated on the invoice. School uniform may be purchased at that time.

5. Summer School

We highly recommend that new students attend our Summer School in July prior to starting at the School.
