Pupils study IGCSEs and A-levels and wear the same uniform and regulation ties as their British counterparts. BIST draws on and benefits greatly from Bromsgrove School UK's 450-year history and from many features of its modern educational excellence. There are opportunities for BIST students from Thailand to visit the UK to participate in the life of Bromsgrove School during term time and indeed, participating in a summer school in the UK or during a GAP year between school and university.

There are interchange of ideas between teachers at both schools, either through exchange visits or via the internet to the benefit of both schools. Students from BIST may move to Bromsgrove School UK to complete their 'A' levels (sixth form, Years 12-13) prior to University entrance. Bromsgrove School's sixth form is already a popular choice for many students.
With the same academic standards provided in the UK, students at BIST will have better chances of entering leading Universities in the world, including Cambridge and Oxford.
