International School Thailand - Fees 2008-2010 (3 Terms per Year)

Fees for 2009-2010:

Application Fee of Baht 5,000 is payable prior to taking the assessment tests.

Registration Fee of Baht 50,000 for students Year 3+ and Baht 20,000 for Early Years School

Refundable Deposit of 50,000 for students from Year 3+ . This is payable upon acceptance of your child and before he/she is admitted to the school. It will be refunded when the child leaves the school, provided that the school has received 1 term’s notice in writing of the intention to withdraw. This deposit is required to be topped up each term for boarders.

The school provides Personal Accident Insurance for all students. However, medical insurance are required for all full and weekly boarders. The school has an attractive contract with BUPA Blue Cross at the following rates. Parents may select either plan as they see fit;

Examinations Additional external examination fees will be charged in the relevant billing cycles. PET/KET/FCE examination fees (approximately 3,000 baht per exam) are charged to students in years 7-9. IGCSE fees (approximately 33,000 baht in total) are charged to year 11 students AS/A2 examination Fees (approximately 23,000 baht in total) are charged to year 12/13 students.   Please note that as each student sits for an individual combination of examinations, these costs are approximate. Surcharges are applied for some subjects, notably Art, Drama, Languages and Music. The charges are those set by the UK examination bodies, plus our direct costs of administration.

Students in years 11 to 13 will be given study leave for part of term 3 prior to and during the examinations period. We strongly advise students to take up the study options offered at school during this period but we accept that some students may prefer to study at home. The total annual fee paid (across 3 installments) by students in years 11 to 13 covers the whole IGCSE/AS/A2 programmes and includes this study leave period.
Trips  All year groups from year 3 upwards have 1 compulsory residential trip per year. In addition there will be opportunities for other trips, cultural visits, sporting and outdoor pursuits throughout the year. Invoices will be sent to the parents separately as these events take place.

School Shop Uniform and other accessories may be purchased from the school shop. Range from Baht 8,000 to 12,000.

Late Entry For students entering the school late in the year, fees will be prorated.
