I can’t believe it is now only three weeks until the fun and excitement of Songkran: what a busy term this is proving to be! Like Ms Bennett, I was especially pleased this week to see Jamie’s ‘Teacher for a Lesson’: it is always heartening to see children rise to the challenge of leadership opportunities, and I look forward to seeing many more like that. This weekend, Bromsgrove is hosting the 2nd Annual FOBISIA Student Data Conference, with over 40 senior leaders in schools across the whole of South East Asia visiting our school for two days of workshops and professional development. Bromsgrove is increasingly the hub of excellence in the region in relation to cutting-edge assessment and data, and it is a privilege to share our practice in this way. It was also a privilege to involve our students in the event, with Mike, Rapee, May and Iga (from the Secondary school) and Weili, Harry, Jamie and Jazzy (from the Primary school)  forming a ‘Student Panel’ for a special Q&A session on the first day of the conference.

เวลาช่างผ่านไปอย่างรวดเร็วจนผมไม่อยากจะเชื่อเลยว่าอีกเพียง 3 สัปดาห์เท่านั้นก็จะถึงเทศกาลสงกรานต์อันแสนสนุกสนานแล้ว: เทอมนี้เต็มไปด้วยกิจกรรมต่างๆมากมาย เช่น มิสเบนเน็ตต์ ผมดีใจที่เห็นเจมี่เป็น “คุณครูหนึ่งคาบเรียน”: ผมรู้สึกมีแรงใจที่ได้เห็นนักเรียนมุ่งมั่นทำสิ่งที่ท้าทายในบทบาทของผู้นำ และรอคอยที่จะได้เห็นอีกในโอกาสต่อไป สำหรับสุดสัปดาห์นี้ทางโรงเรียนนานาชาติบรอมส์โกรฟเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานสัมมนา FOBISIA Student Data Conference ประจำปีครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งจะมีผู้บริหารระดับสูงจาก 40 โรงเรียนในภูมิภาคเอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้เข้าร่วมงาน งานสัมมนาดังกล่าวเป็นเวิร์คช็อปที่จัดขึ้นเป็นเวลา 2 วันเพื่อพัฒนาบุคลากรวิชาชีพ โรงเรียนของเราเริ่มเปิดตัวเองสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางความเป็นเลิศทางด้านข้อมูลและการประเมินที่ทันสมัยในภูมิภาคนี้ เป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่จะได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ของเราและเป็นเรื่องที่น่ายินดีที่เราได้ให้นักเรียนระดับมัธยม เช่น  Mike, Rapee, May และ Iga รวมทั้ง Weili, Harry, Jamie และ Jazzy นักเรียนในระดับประถม เข้ามาเป็น คณะกรรมการนักเรียนเพื่อตอบคำถามต่างๆที่มีในช่วงQ&A ในวันแรกของการสัมมนาอีกด้วย
