On Friday 26 April we had our Primary Sports Day at Windsor Park for children from Year 3 to Year 6. The children had a fantastic time competing in a carousel of Track and Field events, focusing on the skills needed and trying to achieve a personal best in each event. These events included throwing a discus or quoit, a javelin or nerf, running 60 and 200 metres and completing the long jump and triple jump. Depending on their performances, the children collected different stickers to add to their Sports Day certificate. All children showed determination to complete each event to the best of their ability and collect as many bronze, silver and gold stickers as possible to contribute to their house total. Well done to all of the children and a big congratulations to the overall winning house Edwards!
