Friendship, acceptance and respect were hot topics of conversation last week as our Wellbeing Committee organised Primary’s Anti-Bullying Week. I was impressed by how well our committee organised the week, with our Year 2 students taking a leading role in explaining to their peers their definition of a bully. This week, the Learning Committee took charge and  organised our Cross Curricular Learning Day. The theme was enterprise and Primary students worked together to create several Primary Ebooks. These were based on the countries that we are learning about in our ‘Around the World’ topic. These books are currently on sale to our parent body, with the winning book being the one that generates the most profit. Student ownership continued on the Early Years campus. Children are now healthy eating ambassadors and are being encouraged to take responsibility for their own and, if they sit on the yellow chair, the rest of their table’s healthy food choices.

มิตรภาพ การยอมรับและนับถือซึ่งกันและกัน เป็นหัวข้อหลักที่เราสนทนาเมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา เมื่อคณะกรรมการนักเรียนฝ่ายสุขภาวะ ได้จัดกิจกรรมสัปดาห์ต่อต้านการใช้ความรุนแรงระดับประถมศึกษา ดิฉันประทับใจที่คณะกรรมการนักเรียนดังกล่าวจัดงานได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม โดยเริ่มจากนักเรียนชั้นปีที่ 2 รับบทบาทเป็นผู้นำในการอธิบายให้รุ่นพี่ได้เข้าใจถึงนิยามของความรุนแรง ส่วนในสัปดาห์นี้ คณะกรรมการนักเรียนฝ่ายการเรียนรู้ทำหน้าที่จัดงานวันกิจกรรมนอกหลักสูตร หัวข้อของกิจกรรมคือ การประกอบการ และนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาของเราต่างร่วมมือกันทำหนังสืออิเล็กทรอนิกส์แบบต่างๆ โดยสร้างจากประเทศต่างๆที่นักเรียนกำลังเรียนอยู่ ในหัวข้อ “รอบโลก” ซึ่งหนังสือดังกล่าวกำลังเปิดจำหน่ายให้ก้บผู้ปกครอง หนังสือที่ชนะเลิศ คือหนังสือสร้างรายได้สูงที่สุด ส่วนนักเรียนระดับอนุบาล มีกิจกรรมที่นักเรียนเป็นยุวทูตรับประทานอาหารที่มีคุณค่าและได้รับการส่งเสริมให้รู้จักรับผิดชอบตนเอง หากนักเรียนได้นั่งบนเก้าอี้สีเหลือง นั่นหมายถึงนักเรียนคนนั้นจะต้องดูแลเพื่อนร่วมโต๊ะให้รับประทานอาหารที่ดีต่อสุขภาพ
