Last week, we celebrated the british tradition of Bonfire Night, which saw a large collection of very impressive fireworks, a giant BBQ, a bonfire and roasting marshmallows on Thursday evening. A great day was had by all and it was a real privilege to spend this with the boarding community. For next year, we hope to make this a whole school event and increase the firework display and selection of food on offer. The trip this weekend was to EasyKart in Bang Kapi, where two teams of racers got to grips with the karts and then sought to improve their lap times. Great improvements were made by all between the sessions, and many students have requested to go to this venue again. The improvements in food have certainly been noticed by all and the Sunday special dish was voted as Sushi again – a firm favourite by the boarders. This coming weekend, we have a trip to see Disney’s Ice Age on Ice, which will be a great and entertaining evening for those signed up to go. We will also be offering an evening for the Primary students on the residential trips to purchase any items they need for their residential trips the following week.
