This weekend, we were delighted to host the 2nd Annual FOBISIA Data Conference, welcoming over 40 middle and senior leaders from over 20 schools across the whole of the FOBISIA region to Bromsgrove for two days – from Mongolia in the north to Jakarta in the south, and from New Delhi in the west to South Korea in the east. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to share our cutting edge practice in the field of student data and assessment, and the approach to personalised learning we like to call ‘The Mona Lisa Effect’. There are many reasons to be proud of BIST – and this conference has added one more reason to the pile! Many thanks to the handful of Bromsgrove teachers who gave up their time and energy to make the conference such a success, and to the following students, whose ‘student panels’ were one of the highlights of the weekend: Harry and Weili (Y5), Jamie and Jazzy (Y6), Mike (Y7), Rapee (Y9), May (Y11) and Iga (Y13).
