On Sunday 20 November, the BIST golf team entered the Shrewsbury Invitational golf tournament, held at the Lotus Valley Golf Country Club.

It was another very successful competition for Bromsgrove with our team being crowned Overall Team Event Winners. The team’s strength is based on some great individual performances with BIST students managing two individual winners, two individual runners up places and two third place finishes as shown below.

Winner Class A Boys – Poon, who managed a fantastic -7 round of 65.
Winner Class B Boys – Dream

Runner Up Class C Boys – Top

3rd Place Class A Girls – Ja
3rd Place Class B Girls – Estelle

On a sad note for the school, this was the last tournament in which Peng (Yr 12), will represent the Bromsgrove Golf Team. In January, Peng will head to the prestigious Mississippi State University, USA to take up a golf scholarship. We wish him every success in his future learning and in his continued progress on the golf course.
