Flood relief total tops 250,000 Baht

January 27, 2012

The donations made by Bromsgrove students, parents and staff, were officially handed over to the Office of the Private Education Commission at the Ministry of Education on Thursday 26 January. Mr Rogers and Khun Bogie presented a cheque for over 126,000baht to Mr Chanwit Tubsuphan (Secretary-General of the Office of the Private Education Commission (Opec) at the Ministry of Education).

The money will be used to help the thousands of teachers and pupils whose homes were damaged by last year?s floods and who are still suffering from the consequences. Staff at both campuses separately raised 124,145baht to help our own ancillary whose homes were flooded. A grand total of just over 250,000 baht ? a fantastic effort! Once again, a huge thank you to all of you who donated money or food for the Flood Relief Programme.
