Bromsgrove International School attracts specialist music teachers from around the world who instill a lifelong love of music within our students.

Head of Music

Mr. Jeremy Meddows-Taylor | music@bromsgrove.ac.th

Mr Meddows-Taylor has been Head of Music at Bromsgrove since 2015, having previously taught at an independent specialist music school in the UK. He is also the current Chair of TISAC Music and a member of the FOBISIA Music Executive. An experienced conductor, percussionist, trombonist and pianist, he has worked with a number of bands, orchestras, and choirs over his career. Mr Meddows-Taylor graduated from Cardiff University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree and his Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Throughout this time, he was also a percussionist with the world-famous Cory Band, performing across Europe in many of the world’s finest concert venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.

Mr. Nick Curror | ncurror@bromsgrove.ac.th

Mr Curror graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, majoring in piano performance. He has enjoyed a varied international career performing in the USA, Canada, Sweden, Bermuda, England and Thailand. He has performed at many prestigious venues, including the Bridgewater Hall, Barbican Hall and Wigmore Hall, and also has extensive experience in accompanying choirs, soloists, music exams and auditions. Mr Curror has taught music across Early Years, Primary and Secondary schools and is also an accomplished composer. His commissions include various commercial enterprises, such as Biffa Productions and Thales Aerospace Company.

Ms. Rachel Argo | rargo@bromsgrove.ac.th

Ms Argo graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. After moving to England to pursue her career goal to become a teacher, she worked within the state and independent education sector, gaining her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Buckingham. Ms Argo is a talented multi-instrumentalist, playing the cello, piano and guitar, gaining her ABRSM Diploma in Music Performance on cello. She also has a range of experience in singing, songwriting and conducting choirs, which has been a strong focus of her teaching to date. As well as teaching music across Primary and Secondary, Ms Argo teaches cello and guitar for the Music Academy.

Rachel Argo

Ms Alice Law | lalice@bromsgrove.ac.th

Ms Alice is an experienced pianist, singer and harpist. While completing high school in Hong Kong, she gained a piano performance diploma from the Trinity College of London at the age of 16. Ms Alice then moved to Thailand to study a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science at the Assumption University. She was the piano accompanist and trainer for the Assumption University Choir and has participated in various concerts, operas and vocal events. She became the Assistant Choir Director and piano coach at International School Bangkok and was the guest pianist for the Bangkok International Choir Festival in 2004. Currently, Ms Alice is the Head of Communications, Choir Director, and voice coach at Bromsgrove.

Dr Achareeya (Eve) Fukiat | fachareeya@bromsgrove.ac.th

Dr Eve graduated from the College of Music of Mahidol University where she earned her Master’s degree in Music Education and her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance. Later, she obtained her Doctoral degree in Piano Performance with Dr. James Miltenberger at West Virginia University. Dr Eve has more than fifteen years of teaching experience both in Thailand and the USA. She has taught students from many nationalities at all ages and levels, from complete beginner through to very advanced. She has also performed in many recitals and is an experienced accompanist.

Ms Poonyaporn (Pang) Preawpanich | ppoonyaporn@bromsgrove.ac.th

Ms Pang graduated from Silpakorn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music in Violin Performance. She studied violin with Dr. Tasana Nagavajara and Mr. Leo Phillips and later earned her Master’s degree in Music Education from Chulalongkorn University. Ms Pang has experience as an orchestra division member with the Siam Sinfonietta and Siam Philharmonic and has participated in a number of international music festivals. She has performed in many renowned concert venues, including Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall and Wiener Musikverein. Ms Pang also gained her Thailand Suzuki Violin Teacher Training with Dr. Lan Ku Chen has taught at a number of international schools in Bangkok.

Poonyaporn (Pang) Preawpanich

Music Academy Teacher (Drum Kit & Percussion)

Mr Kris Krisanalome | kkris@bromsgrove.ac.th

Mr Kris graduated from Brigham Young University, Hawaii where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Performance (drum kit and percussion). At university, he performed with a range of settings, including salsa orchestra, jazz orchestra, steel band, musical theatre, and New Orleans street band. He was a student of Dr. Darren Duerden; the President of the Percussive Arts Society in the State of Hawaii, and also worked with Dr. Daniel Henderson; a former Professor of Harvard University in songwriting and jazz composition. Mr Kris is an experienced teacher, studio musician and performer, having taught drum kit and percussion to students of all ages and levels.
