School Update – Start of Academic Year 2018/19

September 3, 2018

Our administrative team has overseen a number of campus improvements over the summer holiday and has also been working on the student ID cards and  the new fees settlement processes. We have been incredibly busy supporting the Headmaster and the academic team in getting the two campuses ready for the start of this academic year 2018/19.

At the Early years campus, we have undertaken a number of improvements including classroom, flooring, additional covered walkways and a wonderful new playground area (including a pirate ship!). We are also in the process of reviewing our parking and drop off facilities following feedback from a number of EY parents over the course of last academic year.

At the Windsor Park campus, there have been a number of campus improvement projects over the summer break including: putting windows along the corridor walls to transform our Secondary learning spaces; refurbishment of the swimming pool; installing new basketball hoops in the Sports Hall; Boarding house refurbishments and improvements; installing windows in the ground floor of the Performing Arts Centre; installing wheelchair access ramps; improving the parking facilities and also refurbishing the Secondary classrooms with new flooring, new tables and new chairs. Our Boarding Houses have been renovated to provide enough space to accommodate the increasing number of Boarders this year. Lastly, the Hardley Arts Studio is also in the process of having its second floor built, with completion expected by the end of January 2019.

In addition to these campus improvements, we have also been working with our catering company to ensure the quality and healthiness of our food continues to improve across both campuses. Our students can now view the daily menu on display outside the dining hall on the WP campus each day to aid them in their food choices.
