Getting back into a regular routine in Year 6 after a busy STEAM Week has had quite a calming effect. The children have been busy and enjoying our activities.

In Maths we have been using a written methods for long division. The children have gained confidence using an effective long division method and have been challenged to solve long division problems involving reasoning and variation. We have also been using Manga High, an online Maths challenge App (Ninja Challenge this week). It is easy to access on any device and the children gain points for each activity. It is really useful to consolidate and improve quick mental skills – make sure your child is involved!
