We’re two weeks into Term 3 now, and the term got off to an amazing start with what must have been Bromsgrove’s best Book Week ever. Even this week, it is fantastic to see almost every classroom door in the school decorated in the style of a famous book cover, and the buzz of reading still permeates the corridors of Primary and Secondary alike. And what an action-packed term we have ahead! Not only are our senior students about to embark on an examinations journey which will shape the rest of their lives, but Primary students are busy preparing both for the Primary FOBISIA Games in May and the Primary production of Aladdin later this term. Before we know it, the end of term will be upon us, and I hope that parents will quickly put in their diaries both the Year 13 Graduation and the Awards Ceremony and Review of the Year, which was such a highlight of last year’s calendar. In the meantime, I hope that this week’s Learning and Progress Conversations across Primary and Secondary have given all parents an invaluable window into their child’s achievement across the school.

ตอนนี้เปิดภาคเรียนที่ 3 มาเป็นเวลา 2 สัปดาห์แล้ว โดยที่เราได้เริ่มต้นภาคเรียนด้วยความสนุกสนานกับ สัปดาห์หนังสือ ที่จัดขึ้นได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยมที่สุดเท่าที่เคยมีมา แม้แต่สัปดาห์นี้ก็ยังคงเหลือกลิ่นอาย ให้เห็นการตกแต่งประตูห้องเรียนตามปกหนังสือยอดนิยมเกือบทุกห้อง  ทั้งยังคงได้ยินเสียงอ่านหนังสือพึมพำไปทั่วทางเดินไม่ว่าจะจากชั้นเรียนประถมศึกษาหรือมัธยมศึกษา มีกิจกรรมอีกมากรอเราอยู่ในภาคเรียนนี้ นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษากำลังจะเข้าสู่การสอบที่จะบ่งชี้อนาคตข้างหน้าของพวกเขา ในขณะที่ นักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาก็กำลังขะมักเขม้นกับการฝึกซ้อมกีฬา เพื่อการแข่งขัน FOBISIA ในเดือนพฤษภาคม และซุ่มซ้อมเพื่อการแสดงละครประจำปี “อาลาดิน”ในช่วงท้ายภาคเรียน กว่าจะรู้ตัวก็ใกล้จบภาคเรียนที่ 3 แล้ว และผมหวังว่าผู้ปกครองจะไม่พลาดร่วมงาน จบการศึกษาของนักเรียนชั้นปีที่ 13 และพิธีมอบรางวัลและเกียรติบัตรประจำปี ซึ่งถือเป็นงานสำคัญส่งท้ายภาคเรียนที่ผ่านมา ทั้งนี้ผมหวังว่า การพบผู้ปกครองสำหรับนักเรียน ระดับประถมศึกษาและมัธยมศึกษาที่จัดขึ้นในสัปดาห์นี้ จะให้ข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้ปกครองทั้งหลาย เพื่อช่วยให้บุตรหลานท่านประสบความสำเร็จในการเรียน
