This year our Student Voice Executive have helped to design an additional aspect to our rewards system in Primary. As you know, we award Polio points if children display any of the Bromsgrove Learner Profile attributes, and, when a child gets 4 Polio Points, the school funds a Polio vaccine for one child. Primary pupils have also decided that, if one of them saves a life, they should be rewarded with extra responsibility around the school. Jamie, pictured below, has saved 20 lives, and so he became ‘a teacher for a lesson’. He took the responsibility very seriously and organised a fantastic PE lesson. I look forward to seeing if anyone saves 50 lives as this means they will become Primary Principal for the day!

ปีนี้คณะกรรมการเสียงจากนักเรียนของเราได้ช่วยกันคิดระบบการให้รางวัลนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาเพิ่มเติมขึ้นจากเดิม ท่านคงทราบกันดีอยู่แล้วว่าทางโรงเรียนให้คะแนนโปลิโอพอยต์กับนักเรียนที่มีความประพฤติเหมาะสมตามคุณลักษณะนักเรียนบรอมส์โกรฟ และเมื่อเด็กได้รับโปลิโอพอยต์ครบ 4 คะแนน ทางโรงเรียนจะบริจาควัคซีนโปลิโอ 1 เข็มสำหรับเด็กยากไร้ นักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาเห็นชอบกันว่าเมื่อเพื่อนนักเรียนคนใดได้ช่วยชีวิตเพื่อนมนุษย์ด้วยวัคซีนหนึ่งเข็ม พวกเขาจะได้รับรางวัลด้านความรับผิดชอบภายในโรงเรียน ตามภาพด้านล่าง เจมี่ ได้ช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นด้วยวัคซีนโปลิโอมาแล้วถึง 20 เข็ม จึงได้เป็น “คุณครูหนึ่งคาบเรียน” เจมี่รับผิดชอบต่อหน้าที่ซึ่งได้รับมอบหมายอย่างจริงจังและจัดบทเรียนพลศึกษาที่ยอดเยี่ยม ดิฉันหวังว่าจะเห็นนักเรียนได้ช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นด้วยวัคซีนโปลิโอถึง 50 เข็มอาจจะได้ลองทำหน้าที่หัวหน้าฝ่ายประถมศึกษาแทนดิฉันดูสักหนึ่งวัน!
