In Y4 Kingfishers our English topic is Adventure Stories. We have focused on how to write an imaginative setting. This week, we thought about how to create an exciting and engaging character description. We have shared some good examples and worked out what makes them effective. We used our imaginations and ideas from characters we know to write our description. We used some carefully chosen adjectives and similes. Some of us tried to show our reader what a character is like rather than just telling them. We are looking forward to writing our adventures in the coming weeks!
